About Livsho
Livsho is a live-video auction and marketplace where approved sellers host shows and offer items for sale to viewers in real time. Livsho provides the technology platform — we are not a party to the sale contract between buyer and seller, do not take ownership of items, and do not act as a commercial agent. The sale contract is concluded directly between buyer and seller in accordance with Saudi Arabia's E-Commerce Law (Royal Decree M/126) and its Implementing Regulations.

Electronic acceptance
By creating an account, ticking the acceptance box, or otherwise using the Platform, you confirm electronic acceptance of these Terms. In line with Articles 5 and 10 of the Saudi Electronic Transactions Law (Royal Decree M/8), this electronic acceptance is binding and enforceable as if signed in writing. Notices, receipts, invoices, and other communications sent through the Platform or to the email/mobile number on your account constitute valid written notice.
Eligibility
- You must possess full legal capacity as recognised under Sharia and the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and be at least 18 years of age (Hijri or Gregorian) — the age of majority in the Kingdom.
- You must be a resident of Saudi Arabia or another country we serve, and not subject to any sanction or legal impediment that would prohibit use of the Platform.
- You must not have had a previous Livsho account terminated for policy violations.
- By using Livsho, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is true, accurate, and lawful.
Account & security
To use most features of Livsho, you must register an account using a valid Saudi/GCC mobile number and verify it by OTP. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, current, and lawful information during registration, and to maintain and regularly update that information so it remains accurate
- Keep your account credentials confidential and not share your login or OTP with anyone
- Notify us immediately at info@livsho.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account
- Be responsible for everything that happens under your account, including bids, purchases, and content posted
Livsho may suspend, freeze, or close any account whose information is found to be false, inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or unlawful, or which is used for fraudulent or abusive activity, without prior notice.
Buyer terms
Bids are binding
A bid placed during a live auction is a binding offer to buy the item at that price if you win. Bids may not be retracted once placed, except where the seller's description has materially changed or where the seller explicitly allows cancellation. Persistent non-payment for won items will result in account suspension.
Right of withdrawal
Under Article 18 of the Saudi E-Commerce Implementing Regulations, items sold by auction are normally excluded from the 7-day right of withdrawal. Direct "Buy Now" purchases of regular goods may benefit from withdrawal within 7 days under the conditions of that law (item unused, in original packaging, return shipping at buyer's cost), unless the item falls within an excluded category (e.g. perfumed or personal-use items, opened sealed goods, custom orders).
Payment
- Payment is captured automatically when you win an auction or complete a Buy Now purchase, using the payment method saved on your account.
- We accept Mada, Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard, and STC Pay. Other methods may be added or removed from time to time.
- Prices are shown in Saudi Riyal (SAR). Prices are inclusive of 15% VAT for VAT-registered sellers, in line with ZATCA rules. Shipping fees are shown separately.
Seller terms
Approval & verification
To host live shows or sell on Livsho, you must apply and be approved as a seller. We may require:
- A valid Saudi National ID or Iqama, plus a face photo for liveness verification
- Where you sell on a commercial scale, a Commercial Registration (CR) and, where applicable, a Maroof account verifying your store
- VAT registration details if you exceed the ZATCA mandatory registration threshold
- An IBAN in your name (or your business's name) for SAR payouts
Approval is at Livsho's discretion and may be withdrawn at any time for policy violations or regulatory reasons.
Listings & honesty
- Items must be accurately described, with clear photos and honest condition disclosures
- You must own the items you sell or have the legal right to sell them
- Counterfeit, replica, or IP-infringing items are strictly forbidden
- Reserve prices, starting bids, and Buy Now prices must reflect the genuine intended sale price — no fake reserves to test the market
- Shill bidding (bidding on your own items, or coordinating with others to inflate prices) is prohibited and results in a permanent ban and forfeiture of pending payouts
Seller obligations
- Ship sold items within the handling time stated on your profile (default 3 business days for inside-KSA orders)
- Provide a valid tracking number through one of the supported carriers (e.g. SMSA, Aramex, Saudi Post / SPL, Naqel, J&T)
- Issue a ZATCA-compliant tax invoice if you are VAT-registered
- Respond to buyer messages and disputes within 48 hours
- Honour every completed sale; cancelling on a winning buyer is a serious policy violation
Live show rules
Every live show on Livsho must comply with our Community Guidelines, Saudi public-decency norms, and applicable law. During a live stream you may not:
- Display, promote, or sell any prohibited item (see section 7)
- Make false or misleading claims about an item, its origin, authenticity, or pricing
- Engage in harassment, hate speech, sectarian or tribal incitement, or discrimination
- Stream nudity, sexually suggestive content, graphic violence, or content offensive to Islamic values or public order
- Use bots, fake viewer counts, or any artificial engagement
- Solicit payments or transactions outside the Livsho platform
- Disclose another person's private information without consent
Livsho may monitor, mute, pause, or end a live stream at any time. Repeated violations result in permanent removal and may be reported to the competent authorities.
Prohibited items
The following may not be listed, auctioned, or sold on Livsho:
- Counterfeit, replica, or unauthorised reproductions of any branded goods
- Items that infringe a third party's intellectual-property rights
- Stolen property or items obtained illegally
- Weapons, firearms, ammunition, knives marketed as weapons, and any explosives or military equipment
- Alcohol, narcotics, controlled substances, or any drug paraphernalia
- Pork and pork-derived products
- Tobacco, vapes, e-cigarettes, and shisha products
- Adult content, sexually explicit material, or items contrary to Islamic values and Saudi public morality
- Gambling devices, lottery tickets, and items connected to games of chance
- Religious or symbolic items used in a way that may be offensive, satirical, or disrespectful
- Currencies, securities, financial instruments, and crypto-assets
- Live animals, ivory, taxidermy of protected species, and CITES-restricted goods
- Hazardous materials, recalled products, and unregistered medical devices, medicines, or supplements
- Any item whose sale is restricted under Saudi law or competent regulator guidance
Livsho may remove any listing at its discretion and suspend accounts that repeatedly post prohibited items.
Fees, VAT & payouts
Buyers do not pay a Livsho platform fee on top of the item price; what you pay at checkout is the item price plus shipping plus any applicable VAT. Sellers pay a commission on each completed sale; the current rate is shown in your seller dashboard and may change with prior notice.
VAT at the Saudi standard rate (currently 15%) applies where the seller is VAT-registered. Livsho's commission and fees are likewise subject to VAT. Sellers are responsible for issuing ZATCA-compliant tax invoices to their buyers.
Seller payouts are released to the seller's IBAN after the buyer confirms receipt or after a holding period following carrier-confirmed delivery (default 7 days). Livsho may withhold payouts during active disputes, suspected fraud, or regulatory holds.
Shipping & delivery
- Sellers are responsible for safely packing and shipping items within their stated handling time.
- Livsho is not a carrier and is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by a shipping provider.
- Buyers must enter a complete, accurate Saudi/GCC address with a working contact number. Re-delivery fees caused by an incorrect address are the buyer's responsibility.
- For cross-border orders within the GCC or beyond, the buyer is responsible for any customs duties, import VAT, and clearance fees.
- Risk of loss passes to the buyer once the carrier confirms delivery to the address provided.
Disputes & refunds
If your item does not arrive, or arrives significantly not as described, open a dispute through the app within 72 hours of delivery, or within 10 days of the expected delivery date if the item never arrives. Go to My Orders → Report a Problem. Livsho will review the case, may ask for photos or evidence, and will issue a refund or facilitate another resolution. Decisions issued by Livsho's resolution team are final at the platform level — they do not affect any consumer right you have under Saudi law.
Intellectual property
The Livsho name, logo, application code, software, written and unwritten text, graphic designs, technical concepts, button icons, symbols, audio clips, compiled data, promotional materials, and all other content available through the Platform are the exclusive property of Livsho or its licensors and are protected by the copyright, trademark, and intellectual-property laws in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Users undertake to respect Livsho's intellectual-property rights, including the Platform itself and all words, logos, and symbols associated with or displayed on it.
You may not copy, modify, redistribute, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written permission. Pirated, cracked, or unauthorised copies of any software, subscription, or media are strictly forbidden, both as Items for sale and as content in live shows.
By posting content on Livsho (item photos, descriptions, live video, chat messages), you grant Livsho a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sub-licensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and promote that content while operating and marketing the Platform. This licence survives the closure of your account to the extent necessary to maintain show records, transaction history, and dispute evidence.
User conduct & legal compliance
You undertake to comply with all laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including, without limitation:
- The E-Commerce Law (Royal Decree M/126) and its Implementing Regulations
- The Anti-Cyber Crime Law (Royal Decree M/17)
- The Anti-Commercial Concealment Law (Royal Decree M/4) — sellers must not allow a non-Saudi to operate a commercial activity under the seller's name
- The Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree M/19) and SDAIA's Implementing Regulations
- The Anti-Money Laundering Law and counter-terrorism-financing regulations issued by SAMA
- Trademark, copyright, and consumer-protection regulations issued by the Ministry of Commerce
- ZATCA's VAT and e-invoicing rules
In addition, you agree not to:
- Use Livsho for any unlawful purpose or in a manner contrary to public morality and Islamic values
- Interfere with the Platform's operation, security, or other users' experience
- Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Platform without our written authorisation
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the apps
- Create multiple accounts to evade bans, restrictions, or fee structures
- Solicit or complete transactions off-platform to avoid fees ("fee circumvention")
- Upload malware, exploits, or anything that disrupts other users' devices or our systems
Disclaimers
Livsho is provided "as is" and "as available", to the maximum extent permitted by Saudi law. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses. We do not endorse any seller or item, and we are not responsible for the accuracy of listings, the quality of items, or the conduct of any user. The sale contract is between buyer and seller; Livsho is a venue and a technology provider.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Saudi law, Livsho's total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to Livsho in the 6 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) SAR 500. Livsho shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or data loss, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Saudi consumer-protection or e-commerce law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Livsho, its shareholders, directors, employees, agents, and partners from any direct or indirect claim, loss, damage, fine, regulatory penalty, or expense (including reasonable legal fees and costs) arising out of (a) your use of the Platform, (b) any unlawful, false, or unauthorised use of your account, (c) your breach of these Terms, (d) your violation of any law or regulation, or (e) your infringement of any third-party right, including intellectual-property and privacy rights. Livsho may, at its discretion, take over the defence of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate fully and not to settle any matter without our written consent.
Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them — including non-contractual disputes — are governed by the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any unresolved dispute shall be referred to:
- For consumer matters, the competent Commercial Court of Riyadh or, where applicable, the Ministry of Commerce's online consumer-rights service (Balagh)
- For commercial matters between Livsho and a registered business, binding arbitration administered by the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) in Riyadh, conducted in Arabic, with one arbitrator
You waive any right to participate in a class action against Livsho to the extent permitted by Saudi law.
Termination
Livsho may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms or for any other lawful reason. On termination your right to use the Platform ends immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Platform evolves or as Saudi law changes. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Livsho after that date means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not, you must stop using the Platform.
No third-party amendments. No party other than Livsho's authorised management — or the competent judicial or regulatory authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia — may add, alter, or impose any provision of these Terms. Any purported amendment from any other source is void and unenforceable.
Force majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from causes beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, government action, sanctions, regulatory orders, fire, flood, power or telecommunications outages, internet disruption, cyberattacks, denial-of-service attacks, or failures of upstream cloud providers. The affected party shall notify the other without undue delay and shall use reasonable efforts to resume performance. If a force-majeure event continues for more than 60 consecutive days, either party may suspend or terminate the affected obligations without further liability.
